• Christopher Boucher founder of Farmtiva is widely recognized as one the founders and pioneering figures of the modern American hemp Industry.

• In 1990, Chris Boucher started one of the first hemp companies in America The Hempstead Company.

• In 1992, Chris Co-Founded the Hemp Industries Association (HIA) as the first industry collective and trade associations to grow and standardize the industry.

• In 1994, he made hemp history as the first modern person to legally grow industrial hemp at the USDA Research Station in Brawley, California.

• Chris drafted the first hemp legislation in America for legal cultivation of hemp in 1994

• In 2000 he helped create the very first Native American hemp laws for the Navajo Nation in AZ.

Chris has also been cited as helping to usher in the US hemp CBD industry, by co-writing the original legal opinion “Hemp CBD is legal in all 50 States” in 2012.

Following the 2014 Farm Bill, Chris was instrumental in establishing several hemp CBD and cannabinoid extraction companies, such as HempMeds, US Hemp Oil, and Cannavest (CV Sciences Corp.), and was the Director of Development with Ananda Scientific, INC, before forming Farmtiva in 2017.

Chris is now pioneering the next front of CBD products with the introduction of super bioavailable JuiceTiva™ hemp CBDa juice powder, for sale as a superfood ingredient.
